MILFORM® 2128

Heavy duty evaporative lubricant

Milform 2128 is an “Evaporative” heavy duty lubricant developed for stamping, drawing and bending in the air conditioning and heat transfer industries. Milform 2128 has been fortified with anti-wear and lubricity additives to maximise tool life and component formability.

Application
Milform 2128 is primarily used to stamp and draw aluminium fin stock where high collar heights are needed. It is also used to stamp and draw steel, copper, brass and aluminium cold rolled sheet stock up to 1,5 mm thickness where post cleaning is prohibitive. The “Evaporative” nature of this unique lubricant provides high boundary lubrication, but without leaving unsightly residues that interfere with subsequent assembling and/or manufacturing processes.
Milform 2128 may be applied by spray, roller, drip or brush methods.
